At American Apparel, A Lawyer Takes the Helm

In recent years, the clothing retailer American Apparel has struggled through a bankruptcy, the ouster of its founder and ex-CEO Dov Charney and controversies surrounding its ad campaigns and work environment.

Maybe all it needs is that Big Law touch: Former Loeb & Loeb partner Chelsea Grayson, who is currently general counsel, is going to assume the position of CEO, according to the fashion media outlet Women’s Wear Daily.
