Why New Cicayda CEO Believes e-Discovery is Moving to Cloud

The Nashville-based e-Discovery software and services company Cicayda announced this week it named Billy Hyatt as its new CEO.

Hyatt has been the company’s chief sales officer since 2014, handling business development and marketing. He replaces one of the company’s co-founders Roe Frazer, who stepped down to start his own law firm.

Cicayda is one of a crop of new e-Discovery software review companies that claims one of its competitive advantages is cloud-based software made possible by Amazon Web Services. Others in this space include San Francisco-based Logikull and Berkeley-based Everlaw.
