HR Operations Manager

For the New York Office of a Boutique Litigation Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide personnel policy and procedure guidance to employees and management;
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance requirements;
  • Coordinate open enrolments, changes, and training for employee benefits programs; respond to human resources-related inquiries; assist with payroll processing and benefits inquiries;
  • Assist with creating and distributing internal communications regarding status changes, benefits, or company policies;
  • Develop and maintain talent management processes; administer new employee on-boarding and orientation; conduct exit interviews;
  • Monitor employee morale and company culture.

Qualifications include:

  • 5-7 years of leadership experience in law firm Human Resources positions; bachelor’s degree required;
  • Experience in the administration performance reviews, benefits and compensation programs;
  • Excellent organizational skills, including demonstrated project management skills;
  • Outstanding writing, leadership and influencing skills; proven ability to inspire confidence in leadership;
  • Strong working knowledge of HRIS programs and Microsoft Office;
  • Innovative and entrepreneurial spirit and ability to show initiative, be proactive.
