Marketing & Business Development Specialist
For the New York Office of a Prestigious Law FirmThis is a filled position.
Responsibilities include:
- Take the lead on all annual cycles of submissions, with direction from Director/manager;
- Manage the end-to-end planning of events and sponsorships; serve as the point person for external speaking engagements, conferences, client entertainment, and other events;
- Support CRM work related to partners, ensuring all BD activities are added; develop contact and activity reports and reminders;
- Work closely with the manager on pitches, proposals, RFPs and other marketing materials; manage website and bio updates;
- Conduct competitive intelligence research and requests from related partners;
- Support Director with partner/practice press outreach and introductions.
Qualifications include:
- 3+ years of experience in law firm marketing, communications or business development; bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or business-related field preferred;
- Experience with email marketing tools (ex. Vuture), website marketing, media tracking, online electronic newswire services and social media tools; knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop) a plus;
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills and a professional demeanor;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and impeccable attention to detail;
- Highly motivated, proactive, responsive and conscientious, with a commitment to delivering excellent client service;
- Ability to multitask and juggle competing deadlines; flexibility to work additional hours as necessary.
