Gowling WLG lawyers recognised in Who's Who Legal: Mining 2021

01 December 2020

Eight of Gowling WLG's mining lawyers from the UK and Canada have been distinguished as leaders in their field in Who's Who Legal: Mining 2021.

The guide, which recognises over 400 of the top mining practitioners from over 61 jurisdictions, also named Gowling WLG one of the world's leading firms in 2021.

In praising our firm's global mining capabilities, this year's guide highlighted several members of our team:

  • In the UK, Charles Bond, Gowling WLG's head of natural resources (UK), was highly recommended for his extensive experience and named as one of only four leading individuals in England.
  • In Canada, France Tenaille was named as a leading individual and lauded for her sterling work in Latin America where she expertly handles M&A and project financing matters.

Each year, the Who's Who Legal: Mining guide recognises the top legal practitioners across the sector internationally and is widely regarded as one of the leading mining legal directories. The results are based on a comprehensive research and consultation process that engages industry experts and legal industry peers from around the world.
