Major law firms lend support to the initiative held at Ontario Bar Association
NCA Network, a group of professionals who have studied law internationally, will host its inaugural on-campus interview day at the Ontario Bar Association on Oct. 15.
The event is open to NCA candidates applying to second year student positions, and applicants must submit their applications through viLawPortal by Aug. 19.
NCA Network extended its gratitude to several major Canadian law firms that have given their support and participation to the OCI Day. These are: McCarthy Tétrault LLP, Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP, Norton Rose Fulbright Canada, Borden Ladner Gervais LLP and Bennett Jones LLP.
“We are grateful for their support of this initiative and for their inclusion of diverse OCI candidates,” NCA Network said.
Before the OCI day, NCA Network will also hold a summer pub night on Aug. 15, 6:30 p.m. at Firkin on Harbour, 10 Yonge St, Toronto. The event, which is open to members and non-members, will feature NCA members and alumni and presents an opportunity for casual networking.
