The agreement includes software licensing, implementation, training and related professional services. Withered Burns, based in Lafayette, Ind., focuses on personal injury, business and real estate law, civil trials and appeals, workers compensation, and wills, trusts, and estates.
A key factor in the selection process was Legal Files’ extensive email management capability and its robust integration with Microsoft Outlook, the firm’s email program, according to Zachary T. Legal Files offers email integration with Outlook through a one-of-a-kind “Save to Legal Files” button which is available from within the Legal File user’s Outlook Ribbon, explained Legal Files CEO John Kanoski. “Clicking on this icon, opens a file selection window where the user simply selects the case where the email should be copied,” he said. “Legal Files automatically copies the message, with any attachments, to the appropriate file. We’ve also recently added an interactive Drag and Drop zone which displays a user’s ‘recent files’ list from within the email program. You simply drag the email (or emails) to the appropriate case file in Legal Files, and Legal Files copies it to the appropriate file.”
