Cathryn Sawicki has left Fogler Rubinoff to join Baker & McKenzie’s Toronto office as a partner in the firm’s Global Immigration & Mobility Practice.

Sawicki provides legal advice, advocacy and support of various immigration and citizenship applications including rehabilitation, temporary resident permits, family class, Canadian experience class, federal skilled worker, work permits, temporary resident permits, study permits, and citizenship applications. Her experience embraces appearances in the Federal Court, the Federal Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada

“Our clients know that Canada’s immigration regime is facing additional scrutiny and adjustment, and companies want to stay ahead of the curve as they continually enhance and expand their global mobility programs,” said Betsy Morgan of Chicago, who leads B&M’s Global Immigration & Mobility Practice, in a press release.
