Jones Day Partner Who Advised Barr Jumps to McGuireWoods (2)

Eric Snyder, a Jones Day partner who advised former Attorney General William Barr during his deposition before the House Jan. 6 committee, has left to join McGuireWoods.

Snyder will join the New York office as a partner in the government investigations and white collar litigation department, McGuireWoods said in a Wednesday statement.

The lawyer adds experience to the firm’s white collar bench, having served 16 years as federal prosecutor, including eight as an assistant U.S. attorney in the Southern District of New York. He spent the last six years at Jones Day, according to his LinkedIn profile.
