Firm Wins Award for Deal Financing of the Year

NEW YORK – The M&A Advisor, a publication founded to offer insights and intelligence on mergers and acquisitions, has selected Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP as the recipient of  its Deal Financing of the Year Award for the Firm’s representation of Fat Projects Acquisition Corp, a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), in its $100 million initial public offering.

Winners of The M&A Advisor’s 13th Annual International M&A Awards will be honored at a gala in New York City on September 21, 2022.            

Washington DC Partner Andrew M. Tucker led the IPO for Fat Projects Acquisition Corp. This will allow the company to purchase another company and bring it public to the U.S. capital markets. FAT Projects Acquisition Corp. is focusing its search on a target with operations or prospective operations that is technology-led in the areas of supply chain, transportation, logistics, finance, sustainability/ESG, food, agriculture, e-commerce, big data and/or take advantage of the monetization opportunities stemming from a rapidly growing middle class and their evolving consumption and digital needs in Southeast Asia.

According to The M&A Advisor, an independent judging panel of industry experts evaluated nominations representing more than 250 companies from across the world, with deals valued between $10 million to tens of billions. See the list of winners.
