Gowling WLG's Alex Brodie named as one of WIPR Diversity 2021's most Influential Women

29 July 2021

Alexandra Brodie, a partner in the IP litigation team and co-founder of the tech sector at the international law firm Gowling WLG, has been named one of the World Intellectual Property Review's (WIPR) Most Influential Women.

As a leading IP trade publication, WIPR launched the Influential Women in IP project to compile a dedicated list of 80 women who have built some of the most successful careers in intellectual property - and Alex Brodie has rightly been included in it.

As one of the UK's leading IP litigators Alex is described as "a great strategist and tactician who knows how to position for success at every level of trial", in Chambers. Managing Intellectual Property Magazine also lists Alex as one of the Global Top 250 Women in IP, and she is also held in similar esteem by The World Trade Mark Review.

Commenting on her latest accolade, Alex said:

"It is fantastic to have gained such recognition within a highly competitive and fast-moving space. I look forward to continuing to forge new ground within the IP discipline and hopefully play my part in encouraging and inspiring other women to build their careers in IP."
