Ropes & Gray Represents Francisco Partners and TPG Capital in $4 Billion Acquisition of Boomi from Dell Technologies

Ropes & Gray represented Francisco Partners and TPG Capital in the acquisition of Boomi, a provider of cloud-based integration platform as a service (iPaaS) from Dell Technologies. The cash transaction is valued at $4 billion and is expected to close by the end of 2021 subject to customary closing conditions. The transaction was announced on May 2. The press release is here. 

Francisco Partners is a global investment firm with more than $25 billion in assets under management that specializes in partnering with technology and technology-enabled businesses. TPG is a global alternative asset firm with more than $91 billion of assets under management.
