To say that 2020 was a momentous year would be an understatement in the extreme. Not only did we have to deal with all that COVID-19 had thrown at us, but the killing of George Floyd and the universal rise of the Black Lives Matter movement brought into sharper focus the issue of racial inequity in society at large and the workplace in particular.

Regrettably, as the recent racial abuse suffered by footballer, Marcus Rashford, on Twitter shows, it does not seem appear to an issue that will be going away any time soon.
