Holland & Knight Adds Litigator Louis Rouleau in Washington

WASHINGTON (January 20, 2021) – Louis Rouleau has joined Holland & Knight as a litigation partner in the firm's Washington, D.C., office. Mr. Rouleau focuses on real estate, consumer finance and manufacturing disputes. Most recently, he was a partner at Womble Bond Dickinson.

Mr. Rouleau has served as trial counsel and lead counsel for a broad range of businesses, including those in the real estate development, manufacturing and financial services industries.

He has represented clients in dozens of commercial property disputes from coast to coast, as well as lease finance enforcement actions and Section 1983 violations. His real estate cases often involve an environmental component, including contamination cleanup and reporting requirements.

Mr. Rouleau has represented clients in a wide variety of complex commercial disputes before state and federal courts across the country, including real estate development, product liability, successor liability, bankruptcy, breach of contract and financial services disputes. He has successfully litigated several class action suits for national and international companies.

Mr. Rouleau received a J.D. degree from American University Washington College of Law and a B.A. degree from the University of Connecticut. He is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia.
