Veteran litigator William “Bill” Lawler III is joining Blank Rome’s white collar defense and investigations practice group after a lengthy stint with Vinson & Elkins.
Lawler worked at Vinson for 23 years, including as co-head of the firm’s government investigations and white collar practice group. Before that, he served as an assistant U.S. attorney in Washington from 1989-96.
Lawler’s practice focuses on defending against government enforcement actions including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, criminal antitrust, healthcare fraud, and public corruption.
