Real Estate Partner Lisa Kolieb has been named by the Los Angeles Business Journal as a finalist for its Nonprofit & Corporate Citizenship Awards, which annually recognizes the efforts of individuals and companies who donate their time, funds, and efforts to improve the communities they serve.

Kolieb focuses her practice on land use and real estate development matters, guiding clients through the land use entitlement process from initial site diligence to ultimate project approval, construction, and operation, and advising clients on the government and regulatory aspects of real estate transactions, including environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). She represents clients in the commercial, residential, hospitality, industrial, and nonprofit sectors.

Her service to others has impacted various sectors within the Los Angeles community and beyond. Specific examples include her role as a community engagement champion through her relationship with Our Big Kitchen Los Angeles (OBKLA), her leadership in addressing social issues at Universal Stress Free Zone and supporting LGBTQ housing projects, her dedication as a youth empowerment advocate through her involvement with Camp Ramah and Moshava Alevy, her guidance in community development support for Unity Friends in Christ and Sunny West Child Development Center, her promotion of educational excellence and fundraising efforts through her role on the Board of Shalhevet High School, and lastly, her compassionate support for military families as co-chair of Project Chibbuk and her assistance to families with loved ones serving in the Israel Defense Forces.

Kolieb will be recognized among other nominees during the LABJ's awards luncheon on May 15 at The Biltmore Los Angeles.
