Hogan Lovells advises Europcar Mobility Group in relation to the acquisition of its Finnish and Norwegian franchisees

Paris, 24 June 2019 - Hogan Lovells advised Europcar Mobility Group, a major player in mobility services, in relation to its acquisition of Europcar Finland and Europcar Norway.

This operation marks the fourth and fifth national franchises acquired by the Group and extends its corporate network from 18 to 20 countries, thus reinforcing its European footprint.

Both companies, held until now by Matti and Jussi Holopainen, have a strong position in their respective national markets: Number 1 in Finland and Number 3 in Norway. The combined revenue of the two businesses was approximately €56m in 2018.
