Locke Lord Elects 7 New Partners Across 5 Offices; 30 Percent ‎of Those Promoted Are Diverse

December 5, 2018 – Locke Lord has promoted seven lawyers across five of the Firm’s offices ‎‎(Chicago, Dallas, Hartford, Houston and New York) to Partnership level, effective Jan. 1, ‎‎2019. Two of the new Partners are diverse, highlighting Locke Lord’s continued commitment to ‎its core values of diversity and equality. 

The lawyers represent the Firm’s Business Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Consumer ‎Finance, Private Equity and Venture Capital, Real Estate and Real Estate Finance and ‎Regulatory and Transactional Insurance Practice Groups. ‎

In Dallas: ‎

Kyle Davis provides counsel to clients in a variety of commercial real estate and finance ‎transactions. She represents financial services companies and other institutional lenders in ‎commercial construction and permanent loans secured by senior health care facilities, ‎multifamily projects, office buildings, retail shopping centers and condominium projects. Davis ‎also has extensive experience in real estate acquisitions and dispositions, commercial leasing, ‎health care, transportation and hospitality transactions, as well as representing developers in ‎connection with the construction and development of multifamily, retail, industrial and mixed-‎used projects.‎

In Hartford: ‎

Tara Trifon represents corporate and financial services clients in a wide variety of complex ‎disputes at all levels of the state and federal court systems throughout the Northeast. She has ‎significant experience handling business and consumer finance litigation, particularly relating to ‎claims of contract breaches, fraud, negligence or violations of unfair trade practices. Trifon also ‎regularly advises clients relating to insurance disputes, class actions, merger and acquisition ‎issues and regulatory matters. She has been selected as a Rising Star in the areas of Business ‎Litigation and Administrative Law since 2013 by Super Lawyers Magazine.‎

In Houston:‎

Kurt Krolikowski is a litigator who represents clients in a broad range of commercial disputes, ‎including consumer finance, energy and construction-related disputes. He has experience ‎prosecuting and defending a broad range of claims in both state and federal court, including ‎breach of contract, fraud, negligence, civil conspiracy, breach of fiduciary duty and various ‎others. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and has represented clients ‎before the American Arbitration Association and the ICC International Court of Arbitration. ‎

In New York:‎

Zachary Lerner maintains a general corporate practice with an emphasis on insurance and ‎reinsurance regulatory and transactional matters. He represents domestic and international ‎insurance companies, insurance agents and brokers, reinsurance intermediaries, adjusters and ‎third party administrators, captives, special purpose vehicles and other related entities in ‎connection with their needs, including, but not limited to, formation, licensing, regulatory ‎compliance, advertising, surplus lines and filing matters. Lerner also works with both insurance ‎and non-insurance entities on an array of transactional matters, including mergers and ‎acquisitions, corporate filings, annual reports and affiliate transactions.‎
