Following its successful go-live and integration into Dentons, Dentons HPRP continued its celebrations by holding a launch reception (Nov 12) at Four Seasons Hotel, Jakarta.

Dentons HPRP celebrated its alliance along with our clients, business partners, and government officials. To mark the beginning of the event, Constant Ponggawa, the Managing Partner of Dentons HPRP delivered some opening remarks.

The celebration was attended by the Minister of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Yasonna H. Laoly, who delivered the reception’s keynote speech.

Following Dentons HPRP’s successful representation of the government through PT Indonesia Asahan Alumunium (Persero) (“PT Inalum”) in the divestment of shares in Freeport McMoran, the President Director of PT Inalum, Budi Gunadi Sadikin, attended the event. In his remarks, Mr. Sadikin shared with the audience how Inalum interacted with Dentons HPRP in the crucial transaction, which was observed carefully by the government, particularly the President of the Republic of Indonesia.

On behalf of Dentons’ Global Chair, Philip Jeyaretnam, the Global Vice-Chair and ASEAN CEO of Dentons, congratulated the firm in his remarks, and hoped that the successful alliance would bring benefits to all clients.

Dentons HPRP conducted live teleconferences with Global Partners in the Sydney and London offices as well as a conversation in person with the Global Partner from the Kunming office, who fortunately was among the guests, in order to demonstrate for the audience Dentons HPRP’s global seamless network which allows the firm’s members to connect to lawyers anywhere within the Dentons network to meet clients’ demands.
