Arnold & Porter Advises American Securities and Unifrax on Sale to Clearlake Capital Group Affiliate

Arnold & Porter advised longtime private equity client American Securities LLC (American Securities) in the sale of ASP Unifrax Holdings, Inc. (Unifrax), a global industry leader in high temperature thermal management applications, to an affiliate of Clearlake Capital Group, L.P. (Clearlake).

Unifrax, which provides materials used in emission control, thermal management, filtration, battery and fire protection applications, serves more than 4,000 customers through a global footprint of 31 plants across 12 countries. American Securities partnered with Unifrax for 15 years over two investment cycles.
