Fiera Capital to Acquire Management of City National Rochdale Emerging Markets Fund

Kramer Levin represented Fiera Capital Inc., the U.S. division of Fiera Capital Corporation, in its agreement to acquire management of City National Rochdale Emerging Markets Fund (the Fund), which manages approximately $1.7 billion in assets, investing primarily in Asian Emerging Markets.

Under the terms of the agreement, Fiera Capital Inc. will serve as a sub-advisor to the Fund and the existing City National Rochdale Emerging Markets investment team will transition to Fiera and continue to provide portfolio management services to the Fund. The Fund and its securities would be transferred to a new Fiera Capital branded fund in 2018, subject to Fund shareholder approval.
