Defense attorneys representing Donald Trump and others in the New York attorney general’s business fraud trial on Monday appealed sanctions imposed against the team pretrial by the presiding judge.

Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron in September fined each of the attorneys, including Clifford Robert, Michael Farina and Christopher Kise, $7,500 for continually reviving arguments previously rejected by both Engoron and the Appellate Division, First Department.
