It’s almost time for the 10th annual UF Law E-Discovery Conference! The conference is taking place virtually from February 8 through 9, 2023 – and the best part is, it’s free to attend—virtually!

This conference provides attendees (lawyers, paralegals, project managers, data analysts, and more) with practical takeaways for small to more significant matters. The goal is to provide information you can implement immediately into your process.

The conference isn’t only for those currently working in eDiscovery and legal technology but also those interested in entering the field. That includes students from law schools and paralegal programs.

This year’s conference has over 50 speakers, including 14 representing the judiciary. Plus, it is approved by the Florida State Bar for the following CLE credits:

  • 11.5 general
  • 8 technology
  • 2 ethics
  • 1 bias elimination

Florida has a reciprocal relationship with several other states: AK, AZ, CA, CT, DC, HI, MA, MD, MI, MT, ND, NH, NJ, NY, and SD. And attendees requesting CLE credit will receive an attendance package containing conference materials (agenda and speakers) plus a certificate of attendance for use when applying for CLE credits in non-reciprocal states.

ACEDS has been a supporter for many years and participates in the conference’s planning. This year is no different, and we’re excited to see many legal industry experts keen to participate and help create an educational program that benefits everyone.

ACEDS President Michael Quartaro said, “There are a lot of conferences to choose from in the e-discovery and litigation support industry. None of them are like the UF Law E-Discovery Conference.” He continued to share, “First, this conference is 100% free to attend. Second, this conference has an academic feel to it, and that’s not just because the UF Law School is the host, it’s because the conference planning committee is comprised of the best legal and e-discovery thought leaders and educators in the industry and they recruit the best speakers and presenters in the industry. Finally, the content at the UF Law E-Discovery conference is carefully curated to meet the current needs of the legal community. The content is timely, relevant, and engaging because UF Law and the planning committee intentionally plan it that way.”

The agenda is full of great sessions and provides a great educational program for those who have been practicing law or working in ediscovery to those who are new to an industry where data and legal combine.

So, please mark your calendars and plan to join us for the 10th Annual UF Law E-Discovery Conference on February 8 and 9, 2023. It’s free to attend, and you’ll be sure to walk away with some great takeaways, resources, and new connections. And just so we don’t forget, there are prizes to win and even NFTs that you can collect for attending specific sessions.
