Wong Fleming brought on Beverly A. Williams as a partner in the Princeton office. She concentrates her practice in employment and labor law, defending employment discrimination cases by developing discovery, litigation and settlement strategies, trial preparation, interaction with clients and drafting legal memoranda and sensitive communications. She also provides employment and labor law and human resources consulting and training services to management and labor professionals. Earlier in her career she worked at at ADP Inc., where she ascended to vice president, corporate employment law services. She earned her B.A. from Rutgers University, Douglas College, her master of public administration from the University of North Carolina, and her J.D. from Rutgers Law School. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey and the District of Columbia.

Lisa Only Joins Goldberg Segalla

She was previously with McDonnell and Associates in Cherry Hill and has more than 10 years of experience counseling and defending clients in complex civil litigation matters, focusing on premises liability and transportation, the release said. She is experienced in all phases of discovery, mediations, arbitrations, appellate briefings, and working with insured clients and insurance carriers to coordinate defense strategy, it added. Before going into private practice, she clerked for Gloucester County Superior Court Judge Jean B. McMaster in the Civil Part. Only earned her bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University, her M.B.A. from the Stetson University School of Business Administration, and her J.D. from the Stetson University College of Law.

Archer Welcomes Summer Associates

Archer has brought on seven law students as summer associates in Voorhees and Hackensack. The eight-week, hybrid program runs from June 6 to July 29. More than half of those participating identify as a racial or ethnic minority, according to the firm. Shelley Smith, Archer’s chief diversity, equity and inclusion officer, said: “We are proud that our summer associate program draws the highest caliber students from law schools across the region. We are especially proud that our summer associates, who represent the rich diversity of our regional community, will contribute to the increasing diversity of the legal community.” The 2022 summer associates are: Simone Adkins, Temple University Beasley School of Law; Alec Fante, Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law; Juliana LoPiccolo, Seton Hall University School of Law; Crystal Paulino, Seton Hall University School of Law; William Puleo-Monzón, Temple University Beasley School of Law; Gladys Rosario, Rutgers Law School-Camden; and Austin Taylor, Rutgers Law School-Newark. Summer associates will work on various matters throughout practice groups, attending client conferences, court hearings, depositions and other events, the firm said. The program also includes a speaker series in which firm attorneys and clients host discussions of emerging topics, recent cases and important developments in the profession. Summer associates will also have the opportunity to participate in the firm’s associate and DEI-focused training programs, the firm said. Sarah Gribbin, chair of the firm’s hiring committee, said in a statement, “We are excited to welcome the summer associates into our offices and to be able to see them on a semi-regular basis. We think this will help foster connections with the attorneys and allow them to experience the collegiality of Archer’s culture.”
