President Joe Biden’s pick to replace Ketanji Brown Jackson on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit faced no opposition Wednesday during her nomination hearing, in contrast to others that have been marred by partisanship.

Florence Pan, currently a U.S. District Judge in the District of Columbia, faced no pushback from Republican lawmakers on the Senate Judiciary Committee Wednesday. She was confirmed to the federal district court in D.C. last September in a bipartisan vote of 68-30.
