A jury was seated late Monday in the false statements trial of former Perkins Coie partner Michael Sussmann.

Sussmann, a former cybersecurity lawyer, is accused of lying to the FBI about his client relationships in a September 2016 meeting during which he shared allegations about potential ties between former President Donald Trump and Russia. Prosecutors allege that Sussmann claimed not to be representing any client in the meeting, when he was actually representing Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign and a technology executive allegedly involved in an anti-Trump opposition research effort.
