U.S. Readying Possible Facebook Lawsuit in Antitrust Probe (2)

U.S. competition enforcers are preparing a possible antitrust lawsuit against Facebook Inc., according to a person familiar with the matter.

The <-bsp-bb-link state="{"bbHref":"bbg://securities/13362Z%20US%20Equity","_id":"00000181-4ebd-d0ce-a1b1-ffffee250000","_type":"0000016b-944a-dc2b-ab6b-d57ba1cc0000"}">Federal Trade Commission has been investigating Facebook for more than a year over whether the social media giant has harmed competition and could file a case by the end of the year, said the person, who was granted anonymity because the inquiry is confidential. No final decision has been made, the person added.
