In this series, CRob and I had the opportunity to talk to some amazing folks who either participated in an Intel academic program or who received an Intel academic award. First up is Yossi Oren, Senior Lecturer at Ben Gurion University. Yossi took a sabbatical from teaching to spend a year working in Intel’s iSTARE team.
In this next video, we talk to Priya Naphade, a student at Princeton University, who was one of the many participants in the Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU). Through REU, Intel partners with leading academic institutions to provide hands-on guidance to help students gain experience in security and privacy research. Last but not least, Webster Professor Srinivas Devadas (MIT) and Professor Edward Suh (Cornell) were the winners of the Test of Time Award for their paper “AEGIS: Architecture for Tamper-Evident and Tamper-Resistant Processing”, published in 2003. Tune in to hear why Professor Srini said that winning the award was one of the best days of his life.
