TORONTO – May 15, 2019 – Heuristica Discovery Counsel LLP (Heuristica) is pleased to announce, effective immediately, that it is migrating to Relativity‘s cloud-based e-discovery platform, RelativityOne.

Heuristica is one of the first Canadian providers to achieve RelativityOne Partner status and its RelativityOne tenant and client data will be based exclusively in Canada on the secure Microsoft Azure cloud.  Heuristica’s move to RelativityOne highlights the ongoing trend of Canadian providers moving their business to the cloud.

With the secure and extensible Relativity SaaS product, Heuristica will be able to further leverage its e-discovery expertise to provide more value and better results to end clients.  The move to the cloud gives Heuristica the added scalability and flexibility needed to stay nimble when dealing with the ever-changing data needs and requirements of each case.  Heuristica also plans to utilize the open API of the platform to build out exciting new applications that take advantage of RelativityOne’s flexibility.

Crystal O’Donnell, Heuristica’s CEO and Senior Counsel, notes “We’re extremely proud to have the opportunity to partner with Relativity in this important market development.  We’re confident that RelativityOne and its enhanced and continuously improving features will provide even greater value for our clients and prospective clients.  In addition to its other innovative features, we’re also particularly impressed with RelativityOne’s multiple work space structure and the opportunity to use this to help clients reduce their ongoing data hosting costs.”

“We’re thrilled that Heuristica is leveraging RelativityOne to help transform their business,” said Andrew Sieja, founder and CEO of Relativity.  “We look forward to partnering with them to help utilize the flexibility and efficiency of RelativityOne so that they can provide added value to their clients.”
