Manatt, Phelps & Phillips has elected privacy and cybersecurity lawyer Donna L. Wilson as its newest CEO and managing partner.
Wilson will take over the leadership role from Bill Quicksilver on July 1, at which point he will become managing partner emeritus. Quicksilver has served as the L.A.-based firm’s managing partner since 2007.
Under Quicksilver, Manatt has expanded to include consulting services, primarily in health care and digital media, alongside legal counsel. Wilson told Bloomberg Law that she plans to expand the firm’s consulting businesses alongside its legal practice.
