“The Life of a Startup Part 2: Prepping for Acquisition” is the title of Haley Altman‘s conversation with me at the Legal Talk Network‘s “Law Technology Now” podcast this month.
Altman — CEO of Doxly — has “more than a decade of experience working on complicated transactions in the corporate, private equity, and venture capital verticals.”
She discusses “what it takes to grow a legal tech company and position it for acquisition in today’s market.”
She also shares how she build her own company, without a base in New York or California — but in Indiana. Altman found that very helpful to get to both sides of the country, and it also helped her “foster a healthy family.”
Altman also discussed CodeX’s “Legal Tech Founders: Then and Now,” held April 4, the day before the sixth annual CodeX FutureLaw Conference.
