Our next CodeX meeting is this Thursday (March 22), from 1.30 p.m. to 2.30 p.m. (Pacific time) in Room N112 of the Neukom Building of Stanford Law School (or via Zoom link below).

Ray Gallo, Senior Partner, Gallo LLP, and Founder & CEO, Gallo Digital, LLC.

Gallo Digital invests in software as a service businesses and applications; its initial investments include Leverage®, a technological replacement for class certification. Leverage automates client screening, signing, communications, document exchange, and task management to help enable cost-effective aggregation and mass litigation and arbitration of smaller, more numerous claims. Ray will be presenting remotely.

Shamir Allibhai, CEO, Simon Says.

Simon Says is a website that uses speech recognition with the aim to quickly, accurately, and securely transcribe confidential audio/video files, including interviews, calls, and court recordings. With Simon Says, users can share projects within teams and search, annotate, and export. Shamir will present from SLS.

Eric Chin, Strategy Consultant.

His topic is the global legaltech ecosystem and the CodeX Techindex. Eric has considerable experience working with law firms, corporate legal departments and legal startups in the areas of strategy, M&A, innovation, and Asia markets. Through his work in legal innovation, Eric introduced the “NewLaw” neologism to describe alternative legal service providers, which has since entered the legal industry lexicon. Eric will present remotely.
