Word - Extending a Selection
Extend mode allows you to extend a selection to the next occurrence of the next key pressed.
- Press F8 to turn on extend mode.
- Press a letter or any other key (except F8 or Esc) and the selection extends to that letter or punctuation mark.
To turn off extend mode, press F8 or Esc, or click once on the document.
