One Mega-Firm Dragged Legal Industry Ranking: Report

Dentons, the global mega-firm that went on a merger-tear last year, has just gained another notch under its belt: it single-handedly brought down the aggregate global financial rankings with its low revenue per lawyer.

That’s from The American Lawyer’s Global 100 Ranking today, which chronicled law firm revenue, profits per equity partner and, of course, what the publication calls a “key measure of a law firm’s health and efficiency” — revenue per lawyer.

All in all, revenue for these Global 100 rose by 3.1 percent in 2015, to $96.6 billion, while profits per equity partner rose 4.9 percent to nearly $1.6 million. ...
