Ft. Lauderdale Law Firm – 16 Offices

Analyzed a cloud based UCaaS (unified communications system) for a large multistate Law Firm. Review of all services found many overbilled, unused and unnecessary services resulting in a forced contract renegotiation. Once the cleanup was completed the monthly cost went from $20,800 per month to $9,300 per month or a 55% cost reduction. The new renegotiated contract included many ICG recommendations to further protect the clients best interests financially. The annual financial benefit to the client will be over $138,000.

County Government – State of Arkansas

Complete analysis/assessment of all telecom voice and data services from both a cost and operational perspective. Conducted in depth utilization reviews of all circuits with examination of processes within various County departments. The data collected confirmed a vendor designed data network was severely over-engineered. ICG worked with County IT department to right-size all network services. In addition to the right-sizing we discovered multiple unused and unnecessary services which had potential security issues; these were eliminated saving additional resources. These changes plus new vendor pricing resulted in a 42% total cost reduction of all telecom/data services.

Large Texas Public School District – 250 Locations

Forensic analysis/audit/assessment of multiple Telecommunications vendors billing over 45 separately billed invoices resulted in elimination of 37 invoices. The maze of voice and data network invoices eliminated resulted in disconnects totaling $1,628,577. One major redesign eliminated a $48,000 per month cost by incorporating service into existing fiber WAN. Separate refunds from multiple vendors totaled $107,328. Additional projects included completion of new Master Alarm Line documents by device & location plus consulting on other existing & planned projects.

Kansas City Law Firm – 13 Offices

Analyzed all Telecom vendors billing for voice, data, equipment& maintenance services. Challenged integrity of several vendor contracts for services designed by provider and discovered major over engineered services & multiple billing errors. Redesigned all office locations voice services and reduced monthly spend from $20,000 p/month to $8,000 p/month, also eliminated several maintenance service contracts which totaled approx. $9,000 p/month. Negotiated new voice &data services contracts with three providers and upgraded primary WAN to 100/50 Mb Ethernet solution. Refunds from overbilled/over-engineered services totaled approx. $150,000.

Dallas Law Firm – Mortgage Default Servicer – 6 offices

Multiple projects performed for this client since 2004. Redesigned all local voice & data services saving $92k, negotiated purchase in place PBX equipment saving $115,532. Refunds from service providers were $73k. Future annual savings from these changes $128,600. In 2008, assisted in four office expansion with voice & data connectivity, all contract negotiation & service implementation.
