Prosperoware logoProsperoware, a leading enterprise software company delivering innovative technology for legal and professional services, today announces the appointment of Chris Martin as Account Executive to lead sales of Prosperoware Umbria Business Intelligence, Budgeting, & Pricing in California and the southern U.S. and mid-Atlantic regions, including Washington D.C..

As a legal technology sales veteran with expertise in helping Global 200 law firms become better businesses, Chris will contribute to the continued sales growth of the company’s Umbria platform.

Umbria is a data-first practice and matter management platform that enables firms to deliver actionable business intelligence to their professionals. By enabling partners to monitor matters in real time –– they can avoid write-downs and write-offs, thereby contributing directly to the firm’s bottom-line.

Firms use Umbria to empower their professionals to make financially informed decisions about resourcing, pricing, and delivery of matters while also enabling LPM and lean six sigma principles at an evolutionary, rather than revolutionary, manner. Umbria integrates and correlates big data from numerous law firm systems and delivers this via engaging dashboards and integrated process workflows that are easily understood and readily adopted by lawyers and other professionals. This interface provides actionable business intelligence which enables lawyers and other professionals to understand their true cost of service delivery, to use that information to enable price competitiveness, consistency, and predictably in the delivery of their legal services.

Chris brings an impressive 17 years of executive level sales experience and an established track record of successfully partnering with C-Suite leadership in Global 200 law firms, helping them to become better businesses through matter planning and budgeting, process workflow, business intelligence, enterprise resource management, and business development software (SaaS, on premises, and cloud).

He developed expertise in legal research, CRM, lawyer workflow, and matter budgeting and management platforms during his tenure.

Since its market release last year, Umbria already has been adopted by more than 12% of the AmLaw 100 and has earned Prosperoware a nomination for the 2016 ILTA Innovative Solution Provider of the Year.

Chris adds: “I’m thrilled to join the Prosperoware team and to be part of the exciting and innovative Umbria platform. Helping global organizations and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to improve business processes is a passion and challenge I enjoy. Umbria is a truly innovative technology, and I look forward to partnering with firms interested in evolving their business models.”
