Lawyers drawn into row over Hillary Clinton's emails

Hillary Clinton, Democratic contender for the presidential candidacy, has pointed the finger at her lawyers at the State Department in the controversy over her reading of emails through a personal server.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation, which is examining the server she used for her work and personal email as secretary of state, has recovered some of the deleted emails Albert H Teich

Speaking at a community forum in Iowa, Ms Clinton said that the relied on her lawyers to decide which of her emails were personal and which related to her official duties as Secretary of State. Describing the process in an interview with NBC, she said: 'I didn’t look at them. I wanted them to be as clear in their process as possible. I didn’t want to be looking over their shoulder. If they thought it was work-related, it would go to the State Department. If not, then it would not.'
