Lawyers Diary and Manual Announces Significant Updates to LDMonline™
USA/Canada News

LDM logoNew login protocol and My Notes features improve accessibility and personalization

Lawyers Diary and Manual, LLC, publisher of the indispensable legal Red Book directories for five states available in print and online, announces recent updates made to its popular LDMonline™ product.

A new login protocol makes LDMonline more user-friendly by simplifying access, and an enhanced My Notes feature offers even greater personalization compared to previous product versions.

LDMonline subscribers will now find a simpler process for logging into the Web-based version of the Lawyers Diary and Manual®. By implementing user email address and passwords, access is much friendlier and easier than previously. As a result, subscribers using the same browser and computer will rarely be prompted for login credentials.

The latest updates to LDMonline also include enhancements to the popular My Notes feature, providing quicker and easier access to subscribers’ personal notes within LDMonline. When a listing is selected, the subscriber’s date-stamped Notes now automatically appear as part of that listing – just below the contact information under the heading of “You’ve got notes!” – without any additional clicks. Notes can be printed, searched and shared with colleagues to highlight important information, such as experiences with opposing counsel, referrals, court personnel or agency resources, as well as conflicts of interest or adversarial expertise. All subscriber notes stay intact as LDMonline content is updated.

Additional features of My Notes include:

  • Private or Public Access – Because subscriptions to LDMonline are unique to each firm, notes are confidential within the firm or private for individual subscribers.
  • Searchability – Notes made today are findable later by searching on keywords or any other text included in subscriber notes.
  • Personalizing Options – My Notes are the easiest way to keep personal contact information not included in the public directories such as cell phone numbers and social media details.
