Sony has hired high profile lawyer David Boies to help it deal with its hacking crisis.

David Boies, who once worked in President Bill Clinton's administration, has written a letter to media organisations warning that documents hacked from Sony's computer system were 'stolen information.'  He ordered them to ignore the files or destroy them if they had already been downloaded.  Mr Boies is chairman of Boies, Schiller & Flexner.
