Uber executives were accused of allegedly breaching the privacy of journalists who criticised the company. The on-demand car service had come under fire after it allegedly used the company's 'God View' tool to track one journalist's location without her permission. There were also fears that it may be spying on its passengers as well as monitoring journalists meeting with sources or business peopple travelling to confidential meetings.
