First Bancorp, parent company of First Bank, announced a series of transitions in accounting leadership as part of changes in management.

General Counsel Elizabeth Bostian will take on the role of chief financial officer, while Chief Administrative Officer Blaise Buczkowski will continue in that role in addition to serving as chief accounting officer. Bostian will report to First Bank President and CEO Michael Mayer; Buczkowski will report to Bostian.

In addition, Adam Currie will become chief banking officer and oversee the bank’s newly aligned Commercial Banking, Community Banking, and Retail Banking businesses. He will also report to Mayer.

The moves align with the retirement of Eric Credle as executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective Nov. 12. Following his retirement, Credle will serve as a consultant to First Bank through the transition.
