Public Procurement webinar series - 18 March, 5 May and 8 June

Public and utilities procurement continues to be a fast-moving area in which legal, political and practical developments continuously impact and update practice. Keeping on top of these developments poses a challenge for contracting authorities and regulated utilities, but at the same time not doing so risks losing the opportunities that these changes can often present.

On top of this, public procurement has been a topic of particular interest and scrutiny as the UK emerges from Brexit and starts to set out its own course for the award of public contracts free from constraints at an EU level. In this regard, the recently published Government Green Paper on ‘Transforming public procurement’ includes a number of eye-catching and, occasionally, controversial proposals.

Join our experts and guest speakers for a series of webinars addressing topical issues in procurement law. Each session will cover a different issue that our lawyers are increasingly asked to advise on, and will consider what a possible new regime might look like going forward in light of the Green Paper proposals. The sessions will be particularly relevant to public sector/utility procurement practitioners and lawyers.

Our intention is to continue the series on throughout 2021, so please do keep an eye out for details of new sessions.

Procurement & Effective use of Frameworks/DPSs
