Clifford Chance advises banking consortium on successful asset refinancing by Touax Rail Limited
International law firm Clifford Chance has advised the banking consortium on a EUR 180 million refinancing by Touax Rail Limited combining a 5-year multicurrency green loan of EUR 120 million and a 3-year multicurrency revolving credit facility (with a 2-year term loan conversion option) of EUR 60 million.
The banking consortium included Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen Girozentrale as Facility Agent and Security Trustee, Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank as Documentation Agent and ING bank, a Branch of ING-DIBA AG, as Green Advisor.
The transaction ensures the refinancing of the existing asset portfolio as well as the financing of future investments.

Die internationale Anwaltssozietät Clifford Chance hat ein Bankenkonsortium bei der 180 Millionen Euro-Refinanzierung der Touax Rail Limited beraten. Die Finanzierung teilt sich auf in einen "grünen" Multi-Currency-Kredit in Höhe von 120 Millionen Euro mit einer Laufzeit von fünf Jahren sowie eine revolvierende Multi-Currency-Kreditfazilität in Höhe von 60 Millionen Euro mit einer Laufzeit von drei Jahren und einer zweijährigen Option zur Darlehensumwandlung.
