Sara E. Moss is appointed Vice Chairman of The Estée Lauder Companies

The Estée Lauder Companies has appointed Sara E. Moss to the newly created role  of Vice Chairman effective 1 July. In this capacity she reports to Executive Chairman William P. Lauder, and President and Chief Executive Officer Fabrizio Freda.

In her new role as Vice Chairman, Moss will serve as senior business advisor and liaison to executive management, the Board of Directors, and the Lauder family. She is also responsible for managing senior leaders across the organisation and driving global leadership programmes and women-centred initiatives. Finally, she will also contribute to building the foundations needed to create long-term sustainable success for the family-led beauty company.

Moss originally joined Estée Lauder in 2003, and served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel, a position she will retain until a successor is named. During this time, she managed the company’s worldwide legal organisation and worked as an advisor to the Board of Directors.

The Estée Lauder Companies President and Chief Executive Officer Fabrizio Freda added, “Sara’s innovative leadership, strong business acumen and strategic guidance have proven to be invaluable to our business growth. As our organisation continues to grow and evolve, her expertise and judgment will be important to help position our company for long-term success.”
