CMS advises Bottega on €220m acquisition of Getronics Group

CMS has advised long-standing client Bottega S.à r.l, a strategic investment entity controlled by US/Brazilian IT entrepreneur, Nana Baffour, on its €220m acquisition of the Getronics group from European asset manager Aurelius Group. The acquisition was supported by debt funding from White Oak, Permira and H.I.G. WhiteHorse Capital and involved complex, multi-jurisdictional financing.

The Getronics group is an ICT services group consisting of the Getronics and Connectis brands. The Getronics group has a history extending over 125 years and has nearly 4,500 employees in 22 countries and has a complete portfolio of integrated ICT services for the large enterprise and public sector markets. Bottega already operates in Brazil in the IT services market via Grupo Cimcorp, including under the “Getronics” brand, and will continue the expansion and growth plans of the enlarged Getronics group, which generates approximately €500 million of annual revenue.
