Burges Salmon advises on £8m land sale

Bristol law firm Burges Salmon has advised property giant Skanska UK on the £8m sale of a residential development in Bath.

Skanska UK sold the site, which has planning permission for 39 homes, to Kersfield Developments. Burges Salmon's real estate team, led by partner Ross Polkinghorne, advised Skanska on all real estate aspects of the deal.

"We are delighted to have advised our long-standing client on this transaction and look forward to working with Skanska UK on further investments and property developments," said Polkinhorne.

In July, Burges Salmon advised Skanska on the sale of a significant development holding in Cambridge to Crest Nicholson for £35m.

The firm is also working on the group's flagship speculative office scheme at 66 Queen Square in Bristol.
