SEC’s Aronow Joins Sidley Austin: Business of Law

For Geoffrey Aronow, this past summer was extraordinary in ordinary ways. For the first time in his career, the lawyer who most recently was the general counsel of the U.S Securities Exchange Commission had, by choice, nothing to do.

Aronow, who joined Sidley Austin LLP as a partner on Oct. 20, knew he wanted to leave the SEC in the spring, and when his wife decided to quit her job as well, he chose to take the summer off.
