Guidehouse Announces Expansion of Unclaimed Property Solution

Addition of location and outreach services unifies one-stop shop for companies requiring unclaimed property assistance

Washington, DC – October 14, 2020 – Guidehouse, a leading consultancy and solutions provider to the commercial and public sectors, today announced an expansion of its Unclaimed Property Solutions service offering to include Location and Outreach Services. The expanded offering unifies Guidehouse’s nationwide location services and state-of-the-art contact center to create a one-stop shop for any company requiring assistance in locating or contacting missing customers such as beneficiaries or accountholders.

“I am excited that we have expanded on our already robust Unclaimed Property Services,” said Ellen Zimiles, leader of Guidehouse’s Financial Services Advisory and Compliance segment. “By adding location and outreach services, we are bridging the gap between risk mitigation and operational efficiency.”

The new Location and Outreach components will work synergistically with Guidehouse’s industry leading Decedent Identification services and empower companies to identify, locate, and contact individuals at one of the highest success rates in the market, eliminating hand-offs between multiple vendors, reducing data security risks, and completing the outreach process quicker.

“Unclaimed Property risk and compliance remains one of the most challenging and costly functions businesses need to execute, with outdated systems, varying state requirements and overlapping work streams all creating headaches that business leaders are tired of grappling with,” said Jonathan Berry, partner in Guidehouse’s Financial Services Advisory and Compliance segment and practice leader for Insurance and Investment Management. “With the introduction of a fully unified offering, we’re excited to help companies execute unclaimed property requirements more efficiently and quickly, allowing them to focus on other areas of their business.”

Guidehouse takes a data-driven approach to location services, leveraging curated commercial data to provide the most current contact and location information for beneficiaries or missing individuals. Guidehouse complements this data with an advanced matching engine that leverages sophisticated algorithms to accurately identify and locate people even with missing or erroneous information to create a more reliable and less expensive process for clients.

A complement to the Unclaimed Property Solutions offering is Guidehouse’s contact center managed service, which sends millions of letters and performs millions of outbound calls annually. With KLAS recognized performance and national and international locations, it is one of the most advanced contact center services in the United States.

“Our advanced capabilities enable us to meet even the most aggressive service level targets while providing transparency to our client’s activity,” added James Ouellette, Director in the Financial Services Advisory and Compliance segment at Guidehouse and leader of the firm’s Unclaimed Property Services offering.
