As courts slowly ramp up efforts to hold jury trials in the coronavirus era, federal judges across the country are sharing best practices and guidelines suggested by the Judicial Conference of the United States.

The jury subgroup of the conference’s COVID-19 Task Force this summer “put together ideas for going forward” with civil, criminal and grand jury trials, U.S. District Judge Claire Egan of the Northern District of Oklahoma said Tuesday. Egan chairs the judicial conference’s executive committee.
