Three law school graduates with disabilities have sued California’s state bar and the National Conference of Board Examiners, alleging that the organizations are forcing them to take the October bar exam in person in violation of state and federal disability laws.

In a complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for California’s Northern District, Kara Gordon, Isabel Callejo-Brighton and a plaintiff identified only as John Doe said their disabilities put them at additional risk should they contract COVID-19 at an in-person testing venue.
